activity notes
Silver Spokes is a slower rolling group ride with the Morning SBux Crew - same route, slower pace. Good for riders who want to increase fitness, may be getting started after a break, recovering illness/injury, or just need a recovery ride with friendly folks.

Ride at your own risk.

This is a no-drop social ride. Group maintains a steady pace to achieve the average speed w/typical rolling speeds 15-17 mph. We slow roll from stops to get everyone back up to rolling speed. Riders are asked to ride the advertised speed range for the group and should commit to keeping the group together. There is no sprint zone for this group.

Please download the route so you can practice riding in the rotation.

Be ready to roll 10 mins. before the start of ride for announcements & safety briefing.

Safety first: Follow all traffic laws. A helmet, a white headlight and a rear red light are always required.

Group Etiquette:
* Group rides in double paceline when possible and rotates in a clockwise manner

* Signal turns and lanes changes
* Call out hazards
* Slow roll from stops
* Be respectful of other riders and vehicles.
* No surging, no wheel overlapping or half-wheeling
* No aero bars in the group

* We stop for mechanicals however, you should carry a tire repair kit (incl. spare tube, patches, and tire levers, a pump or CO2 inflator).
