Routes - Viewing, Sync, Devices.

Routes - critical to all rides. Knowing where you're going is a great thing, especially when you join a new & different ride! Chasing Watts makes it easy to check out the route & elevation, both before the ride and setting up your device with the route for during the route! Ride with GPS or Strava and Wahoo or Garmin - we got you covered.
View a route
When in the route tab, you can move & zoom around the route in standard, satellite or hybrid map layers. Also track the elevation changes. With a long press on the elevation chart - you can move back & forth to see where the highs & lows will be on the route! .
Map options
Clicking on the map options will reveal the layer options and route options! Toggle between standard and satellite layers or load the route. If you have the RWGPS or Strava app installed, the route will open directly in the app; otherwise, a web instance will open.
Native App - RWGPS/Strava
Once in the native route app - you can either "pin" (RWGPS) or "star" (Strava) the route to setup the sync to your device. For most, this is all you'll need to do - both Garmin (with Connect IQ apps) and Wahoo will sync the routes down to your device!

RWGPS Pin
In RWGPS, pin your route for an easy sync. Both applications and devices will manage the pinned/starred routes automatically. This assumes you have the service(s) setup on your phone and authorized.
Strava Star
In Strava, star your route for an easy sync. Both applications and devices will manage the pinned/starred routes automatically. This assumes you have the service(s) setup on your phone and authorized.
[Optional] Route Sync - Wahoo
This is Wahoo's Elemnt app. It's configured to sync with both RWGPS and Strava - once authorized. You can have the option to manually sync routes from one or both services.
Route view - map options, map & route, elevation
Easily see the route and its associated options to quickly get you going with information to make your sure the ride is fun and safe. Go to the source website of the route, download a TCX/GPX/Cusheet, or check out the wind stats from MyWindsock. No need to search for the route link or ask folks for it. It's right here!
